About

I'm a molecular biologist with computational expertise, passionate about understanding life through science. My PhD on telomere biology combined advanced molecular and imaging approaches (3D-SIM, proteomics) with custom computational pipelines in Python and R for image analysis, statistical modeling, computer vision and data integration.

Proficient in Bash, Python, and R, I develop reproducible analytical workflows to explore complex biological systems. I'm convinced that integrating wet-lab experimentation with computational approaches will accelerate discoveries and enable transformative advances in biomedical research.

Publications

2025 Dufourd et al. — TELS1 stabilizes t-loops independently of TRF2 and controls telomere length in pluripotent cells
  • TELS1 is a newly identified telomere binding protein.
  • TELS1 specifically binds mESC telomeres and is involved in t-loop stabilization.
  • Linear telomeres remain protected from DNA damage signaling in mESC.
  • t-loops regulate telomerase access in mESC.

Projects & research

  • Pipeline for generating synthetic microscopy data and training YOLO models under severe class imbalance.
